Day 7 of 30 · John 7
Thirsty.
“Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!”
John 7:37 · World English Bible
The city is arguing about him — a good man, a deceiver, a prophet, the Christ. Officers are sent to arrest him and come back empty-handed: no one ever spoke like this. And in the middle of the noise he stands up and shouts an invitation to anyone who is thirsty. People are still divided about Jesus. You don't need their agreement to come and drink.
Jesus, I'm coming to drink today.
