Born from above.

Nicodemus is a religious expert, and he comes at night. Jesus tells him he needs a beginning he cannot manufacture, to be born from above. Then comes the most famous sentence in the Bible. Notice its verbs: God loved, God gave, you believe. Nothing there about earning. If you've been wondering whether you've done enough to be in, that's the wrong question. Did you believe? Then you were born.
