Stay connected.

“I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5 · World English Bible

The Christian life isn't trying harder; it's staying attached. A branch doesn't strain to produce grapes — it stays on the vine, and fruit happens. Prayer, this reading, the people you're finding: that's what staying attached looks like. He also warns that the world may not love you for it. He didn't hide that from you.

Lord, keep me attached to you today, and grow what only you can grow.
