Come and see.

John doesn't open with a manger. He opens with the Wordm God himself, becoming flesh and living among us. Then two men trail after Jesus and he turns and asks what they're looking for. His invitation is three words: come and see. That's your whole first week. You don't arrive with answers. You come, and you look — and the looking is how children of God are made.
