Who he was
Tahath was a descendant of Ephraim, the son of Joseph, mentioned in the genealogy found in 1 Chronicles. He was the son of Bered and the father of Eleadah. This genealogy traces the lineage of the tribe of Ephraim, one of the twelve tribes of Israel, demonstrating the importance of family lines and tribal affiliations in ancient Israelite society.
