Hebron
Who he was
Hebron is mentioned in the genealogy of Judah in 1 Chronicles as a son of Mareshah. Mareshah was a descendant of Caleb, who was from the tribe of Judah (1Ch.2.42,43). Hebron is also the name of the town founded by his father Mareshah.
