Bible Verses About Prayer

How should we pray, and does God hear? These verses and scriptures about prayer teach us to bring everything to God with thanksgiving, confident that he listens.

Philippians 4:6-7 →

6In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 →

16Always rejoice. 17Pray without ceasing. 18In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.

Matthew 6:9-13 →
