Trusting God means leaning on him rather than our own understanding. These verses and scriptures about trusting God are an anchor when the way ahead is unclear.
5Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. 6In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.
Trust in Yahweh forever; for in Yah, Yahweh, is an everlasting Rock.
7“Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh. 8For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t cease from yielding fruit.
Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you.
Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:
Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe.
It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man.
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
