Naaran, also known as Naarah, was a town on the border between the tribal territories of Ephraim and Benjamin (Josh. 16:7; 1Chr. 7:28). It was located east of Bethel and near Jericho. Naaran is mentioned as one of the cities on the eastern border of Ephraim, along with Gezer, Michmethath, and Taanath-shiloh.
