Who he was
Parosh was a clan leader in the time of Nehemiah who is listed in Nehemiah 10:14 as one of the leaders who sealed the covenant Nehemiah established. The covenant pledged that the people would obey God's law given through Moses, including regulations about marriage, Sabbath keeping, debt cancellation, and financial support of the temple. Parosh represented his clan in affirming this commitment to follow God's ways.
