Ithiel
Who he was
Ithiel is mentioned in Nehemiah 11:7 as one of the descendants of Benjamin who settled in Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile. Following the return of the Jews to their homeland, Nehemiah, the governor, took steps to ensure that Jerusalem was repopulated (Nehemiah 11:1–2).
