Hazaiah
Who he was
Hazaiah is mentioned in the book of Nehemiah as an ancestor of Maaseiah, a leader who lived in Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile. Maaseiah is listed among the descendants of Judah who settled in Jerusalem. No further information is provided about Hazaiah in the Bible. (Nehemiah 11:5).
