Ginnethon
Who he was
Ginnethon was a priest who lived during the time of Nehemiah. He is mentioned in Nehemiah 10:6 as one of the priests who sealed the covenant, pledging to follow the Law of God. In Nehemiah 12:16, he is listed as the head of the priestly family of Meshillemoth during the high priesthood of Joiakim. Ginnethon is also mentioned in Nehemiah 12:4 among the priests who returned from the Babylonian exile with Zerubbabel.
