Who he was

Elienai was a Benjamite mentioned in the genealogy of Shimei (1 Chronicles 8:20). He was one of the descendants of Benjamin, the youngest son of Israel (or 'Jacob'). The genealogy in 1Chronicles 8 lists the heads of families and clans in the tribe of Benjamin.
