Who he was

Eliakim is mentioned twice in Matthew 1:13 in the genealogy of Jesus Christ. He was the son of Abiud and the father of Azor. Eliakim is listed in the third set of fourteen generations, spanning from the time after the Babylonian exile to the birth of Jesus.
