About this place

Hazor-hadattah, meaning "New Hazor," was a town located in the Negev region, in the southern part of the territory allocated to the tribe of Judah (Josh 15:25). The name suggests that it may have been a newer settlement or an extension of the older town of Hazor, also mentioned in the same chapter (Josh 15:23). Its location remains unknown.
