Who he was

Shemaiah is named in the genealogy of Simeon as the father of Shimri and an ancestor of Ziza, one of the Simeonite princes of Hezekiah's days: “Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah” (1 Chronicles 4:37–41).
