Shemaiah

Shemaiah was a priest who participated in the dedication of Jerusalem's wall during the time of Nehemiah. According to Nehemiah 12:35, Shemaiah the son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph, was one of the priests who played trumpets during the ceremonial procession on the wall.
