Who he was

Shecaniah was a Levite who lived during the reign of King Hezekiah of Judah. He was one of the Levites appointed to distribute the tithes and dedicated things brought by the people to the temple. Shecaniah worked faithfully alongside other Levites in ensuring these offerings were properly allocated to the priests and Levites (2 Chronicles 31:15).
