Who he was
Pethahiah was a priest who served as the head of the 19th priestly division during the time of David, according to 1 Chronicles 24:16. The priests were divided into 24 divisions, each responsible for serving in the temple for a week at a time, twice a year. These divisions were established by David to ensure orderly worship and service in the temple.
