Pelaliah
Who he was
Pelaliah was a priest who resided in Jerusalem during the time of Nehemiah, according to Nehemiah 11:12. He was the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah. This lineage indicates that Pelaliah belonged to a priestly family. As a priest living in Jerusalem, he would have had duties related to the temple service and worship.
