Paseah
Who he was
Paseah was the father of Joiada (or 'Jehoiada'), who worked on repairing the Old Gate during the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem, according to Nehemiah 3:6. Joiada son of Paseah and Meshullam son of Besodeiah repaired the Old Gate, laying its beams and putting its doors and bolts and bars in place. The Old Gate was one of the gates in Jerusalem's wall north of the temple. Paseah is not mentioned apart from being named as Jehoiada's father.
