עׇמְרִי · om.ri · H6018I“sheaf of corn” Hitchcock's 18691 mention, all in 1 Chronicles

Who he was

Omri was a descendant of Judah who lived in Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile (1 Chronicles 9:4). He is mentioned in the list of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, which includes people from various tribes who resettled in the city. Omri's mention in this context suggests that he was among the first generation of returnees who helped repopulate Jerusalem and restore the Jewish community there.
