Who he was

Oholiab was a skilled craftsman from the tribe of Dan who was appointed by God to work alongside Bezalel in the construction of the tabernacle (Exo.31.6; 35.34; 36.1-2; 38.23). He was filled with the Spirit of God and given wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in all kinds of craftsmanship (Exodus 35:34). Oholiab and Bezalel were responsible for overseeing the work of the tabernacle and creating the sacred furnishings and garments according to the divine instructions given to Moses (Exodus 36:1). Their skillful work was essential in establishing a place of worship for the Israelites during their journey in the wilderness.
