Obed
Who he was
Obed was a descendant of Judah through the line of Jerahmeel (1 Chronicles 2:37–38). He was the son of Ephlal and the father of Jehu. Obed is mentioned in the genealogy of Jerahmeel, which is part of the larger genealogy of the tribe of Judah.
