Obadiah

Obadiah was one of the Gadite warriors who joined David at Ziklag when he was fleeing from King Saul (1 Chronicles 12:9). He was described as a mighty man of valor, indicating his military prowess and bravery. The Gadites who joined David were skilled in battle and known for their courage and loyalty. They played a significant role in supporting David during his time of exile and helped him establish his kingdom. Obadiah's presence among these warriors demonstrates the widespread support David had from various tribes of Israel, even before he became king.
