Meshullam

Meshullam is mentioned in the book of Nehemiah as one of the Levite gatekeepers who served during Nehemiah's time (Nehemiah 12:25). He is listed along with Talmon, Akkub, and their associates, who were responsible for guarding the gates and storerooms at the gates. The gatekeepers played a crucial role in maintaining the security and order of the temple and its precincts. They ensured that only authorized individuals entered the sacred areas and that the temple's treasures and supplies were protected.
