Who he was
Meshezabel is mentioned in the book of Nehemiah as one of the leaders who sealed the covenant with Nehemiah (Nehemiah 10:21). After the completion of the wall of Jerusalem, the people gathered to hear Ezra read the Book of the Law. They then confessed their sins and made a covenant to follow God's laws. Meshezabel was among the leaders who signed and sealed this covenant, pledging to uphold its terms.
