Who he was

Mash, also known as Meshech, was a son of Aram and a grandson of Shem, the son of Noah. He is mentioned in the genealogies of the descendants of Noah's sons after the flood (Genesis 10:23; 1 Chronicles 1:17). The name Mash is used in Genesis, while Meshech is used in 1 Chronicles, referring to the same individual.
