Mahath
Who he was
Mahath was a Levite who lived during the reign of King Hezekiah of Judah. He was appointed as one of the assistants to oversee the distribution of tithes and offerings brought by the people to the Temple. This event took place during Hezekiah's religious reforms, when he sought to restore proper worship and support for the Levites and priests (2 Chronicles 31:13).
