Who he was
Hananiah, the son of Jeiel, was an army secretary during the reign of King Uzziah of Judah. He was responsible for maintaining the records of the army's organization and the number of soldiers (2 Chronicles 26:11). This role was important in ensuring the efficient management of Uzziah's military forces.
