Who he was
Haggedolim is mentioned briefly in Nehemiah 11:14 as one of the priests who lived in Jerusalem during the time of Nehemiah, after the Babylonian exile. He is described as a leader among his fellow priests. The name Haggedolim means "the great ones" or "the mighty ones" in Hebrew.
