Eri
Who he was
Eri was one of the sons of Gad, who was among the seventy members of Jacob's family that went down to Egypt (Genesis 46:16). He became the head of the Erite clan, which was named after him. The Erites were counted among the descendants of Gad during the census taken in the wilderness of Sinai (Numbers 26:16).
