Eliud
Who he was
Eliud is mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew (Mat.1.14,15). He was the son of Achim and the father of Eleazar. Eliud is listed as one of the ancestors of Jesus in the lineage traced from Abraham through David to Joseph, the husband of Mary.
