Who he was

Eliezer is mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Luke (Luke 3:29). He was an ancestor of Jesus, listed in the lineage from David to Joseph, the husband of Mary. The genealogy in Luke traces Jesus' ancestry through his mother Mary.
