Calcol
Who he was
Calcol is mentioned in 1 Kings 4:31 as one of the wise men to whom Solomon's wisdom was compared. The verse states that Solomon's wisdom surpassed that of all the people of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt, including the wisdom of Ethan the Ezrahite, Heman, Calcol, and Darda, who were known for their wisdom. The comparison highlights the exceptional nature of Solomon's God-given wisdom, which was greater than that of the most renowned wise men of his time.
