Who he was

Bunni was an Israelite leader who was among those who sealed the covenant during the time of Nehemiah (Neh. 10:15). After the completion of the wall of Jerusalem and the public reading of the Law, the people of Israel made a solemn covenant to follow God's commandments and to separate themselves from the surrounding nations. The leaders of the people, including Bunni, sealed this covenant, pledging to uphold its terms. This act of commitment was a significant step in the spiritual reformation of the nation and demonstrated the leaders' dedication to God and His laws. Bunni's inclusion in the list of those who sealed the covenant highlights his leadership role within the community and his involvement in the religious and social reforms initiated by Nehemiah.
