Who he was

Bukki, the son of Jogli, was a prince from the tribe of Dan who was appointed by Moses to help divide the Promised Land among the Israelite tribes (Num. 34:22). He was one of the twelve leaders chosen from each tribe to assist Eleazar the priest and Joshua in allocating the land inheritance.
