Who he was

Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai, was a prominent leader from the tribe of Dan during the Israelites' journey through the wilderness. He was appointed by God as the head of his tribe and played a significant role in the census and organization of the Israelite camp. (Numbers 1:12; 2.25)

Ahiezer's tribe was positioned on the north side of the tabernacle, along with the tribes of Asher and Naphtali. (Numbers 2:25) He presented his tribe's offering at the dedication of the tabernacle, which included a silver plate, a silver basin, and various animals for sacrifice. (Num.7.66,71)

As a tribal leader, Ahiezer was responsible for leading the Danites in their journey and ensuring their obedience to God's commands. (Numbers 10:25)
